Mintek filed its final report on biological brine treatment, giving water teams a third route beside evaporation ponds and crystallisers. Building components made from coal discards passed their composite evaluation at Wits, completing that project’s technical work.
The University of Johannesburg completed its first analyses of reprocessed eMalahleni discards as a source of critical elements, and the agrivoltaics trial site is established at Kriel. Six final reports were added to the research library.
